Say Hello to the House of Caesar!

As we move past the elections, it's crucial to engage with our leaders through prayer and communication. Discover how to impact government positively.

Hi everybody. It's Chris Briber, the director of the National House of Prayer, coming to you today from right by the Riddo Canal. And behind me, you can see East Block and a little bit of center block and a little bit of the West block. Anyway, I want to talk to you today about what next? What do we do now? The election is over. What's our posture? And if you've been tracking with us, we always have been saying this for many years now. The way you pray for an election is the day after an election is when you engage. One of my favorite verses um in in the Bible is this little obscure little verse from the Apostle Paul writing to the Philippians in Philippians 4 20. And essentially he

says, "And say hello to the house of Caesar." That's the that tells us that there was impact in the governmental sphere from the kingdom of God, an apostolic impact into the uh into the leaders. God, you know, first Timothy says, we've said this before, pray for everybody. Pray all kinds of prayers for kings and those in authority that will have peaceful and godly lives. That the that those members or those leaders will have peaceful, godly lives. and so that we will have peaceful and godly lives. And it's good and it pleases God. And it also tells us the big why that all men and women would be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. And that is the big premise.

So what now? What do we do now? I want to encourage you in this season. Um send everybody do this. Everyone should do this. I'm going to be do this. I have a new member of parliament. not thrilled that I have a new member of parliament, but I'm still going to work with him and engage with him and build a relationship with him and bring the kingdom. So, consider this. Consider writing a congratulations note to your member of parliament, congratulating them on the win. Tell them some good, you know, say some positive things. And most importantly, tell them that you're praying for them and that you'll be they that they will be in your prayers daily. Tell them that, right? And if you're

bold enough to request a meeting to meet with them or a group of other leaders, a group of your prayer people to gather to pray and meet them, do that. Do that. Reach out. This is really important. You can do this. Reach out. That's what I'm going to do. and I'm going to request the meeting and uh and actually meet with that new member of parliament. My new member is Bruce Fanjoy. And uh so I want to encourage you be proactive. Say hello to the House of Caesar. This is really important for us moving forward.
