Hi everybody. It's Chris Byberg, the director of the National House of Prayer, coming to you today from the walls of Jerusalem. And I want to read something today to you today that's really significant. We're just about to enter the Western Wall. That's where the the Solom where Solomon built the temple. Right now there's a there's a dome on the rock sitting on there. But never nevertheless this is where you get this this in this particular passage of Isaiah 56. You get two things that are being said told there. They're addressing the watchmen. Israel's watchmen are blind and they lack knowledge. And I really feel that one of the roles of National House of Prayer

and those that that pray for Israel, it's important that we're not blind, that we we are uh the Apostle Paul prays this many many times. One of the themes of of the apostolic prayers is wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him and and to know him more. And uh so wisdom and revelation, which will give you vision, right? which is so important that you have vision and to recognize the seasons that we're in, where we are, and what's about to happen. And the watchmen, it says in Isaiah 56, the watchmen are blind and they are like dogs that don't bark. And here we are like a watchman right here. We're on a wall. We're watching. We're looking. And many of you are on a wall and you've

been perched in a place to watch and to pray. And uh also in Isaiah 56, it talks about this. It talks about my house will be a house of prayer for all nations. That's this place, this wall, this tabernacle is a house of prayer for all nations. And we are invited. Actually, what I love about Isaiah 56 and we we see this when Jesus made his his uh his triumphal entry and he came into the the temple just before he was crucified and he came in and and he ex and he he pushed away the tables of the money changers and he was upset. Reason why he was upset about that, it wasn't so much that they were they were, you know, ripping people off. That was part of it, but it was also because

they were in the gates or the courts of the Gentiles. And you have to look at this in in retrospect because in Isaiah 56, it talks about my house will be a house of prayer for all nations. And so Jesus is prophesying in this in this uh uh his his act a prophetic act of turning over the money changers because those money changers were blocking the place for the Gentiles to come in because they were allowed to come in. Isaiah 56 says that if you have a heart for God and you keep the Sabbath, you can come. All the nations can come. Even those that are disqualified by the law like unix are even allowed to come into that place. And that's why Jesus, one of the reasons why Jesus overid that said

that and said, "My house will be a house of prayer for all nations." This house where we're going today, right here on the Western Wall, is a house of prayer for all nations. It's here. It's just not a spiritual place. And many of us know that. We say, "I'm a house of prayer." We've said that. I've said this many, many, many times that I'm a house of prayer. You're a house of prayer. But this there is a physical house of prayer for all nations. And I want to invite you, you should come. And we're working on it. You need to experience this. And we're about to head down to that wall to pray. See you later, everyone. Bye for now. [Music]
