From MAiD to Middle East: Is Canada Losing Its Moral Compass?

Hi everybody. It's Chris Fyri, the director of the National House of Prayer, coming to you today from Parliament Hill. Well, Monday will the House will rise again. They're coming back to the House on Monday. King Charles will be here. There'll be a big throne speech. A lot of things happening. There's two things I want to talk to you that's very, very concerning and bring it to you. It's hard to believe that, you know, in our last session, we were pressing in on very many things and we're still pressing on those things. We're pressing in on maid. Again, there's a parliamentary committee that is recommending the expansion of maid. Which will include mature minors

and those with with mental health issues. This is something we need to be able to one press in on prayer, but we're also going to give you tools on how to reach out to your MP, your member of parliament, and so that you can voice your opinion and say to your MPs, this is not this is not acceptable. This is unacceptable behavior here in Canada. Um, number two, Israel. And it's important that we stay engaged with Israel. It's praying for Israel because we serve the God of Israel. I know we many of you will get worked up about geopolitical things. It's still Israel is very very important. The plan of God when Jesus comes back, guess where he's going? Israel. That's important. So

that's why we pray for Israel. We pray for Israel because the scripture tells us that those who bless Israel will be blessed. those who curse, even those that are indifferent on on this will be cursed. We don't want to be one of those nations that are cursed. So, we want to come from a posture of of uh of blessing, not cursing. It is important to note that just this week, the terrorist organization uh Hamas sent a great big thank you for Canada. That is not a good thing. We would like to have thank yous, but not from organizations like that. Anyway, continue to be in prayer. The prayer points will be down below.
