Hi everybody. It's Chris Vyberg, the director of the National House of Prayer, coming to you today from Ottawa. Well, here we are the day after the Israel conference. It was an amazing time. Momentous, said some of our rabbi friends. It was a We had a phenomenal time. um almost 300 in attendance. In our leadership portion with rabbis and pastors, there were over 150 in attendance. With that, we discussed anti-semitism and how we can partner together in combating anti-semitism. We had a series where we were praying how to pray for Israel. That was in the afternoon led by Dean Bay and our bread Brad Fiddler. really excellent time. The worship time on Tuesday night and prayer time was very
very significant. So these are the two takeaways I'm going to share with you uh that we had. There were a lot of takeaways but um these are the two that really stood out for us. Uh number one, it's important as allies that we don't remain silent. Um it is very very good and there are a lot of you that support the support Israel and have been supporting the Jewish community. Kudos to you but it's important that we move beyond support in our heart but also support in action and a lot of the what happened this weekend was about action. Like I said we had numerous rabbis from across the country. actually the conference we had people from Newf Finland to British Columbia and I'm not
sure quite how far north we went uh but we had people from all over our nation to come and I at one point I asked those in the room to stand if they came from someplace other than Ottawa and twothirds of the room stood up so thank you all of you that traveled all the way here to Ottawa thank you so much but the takeaway is it is good that we are allies and we are building allyship, but they need to see boots on the ground. They need to see participation. There needs to be action. The road to hell is paved with good intentions. It's not good enough to have great intentions and great happy thoughts about Israel and the Jewish community. You need to be stepping up. So, watch for some of our
our we're rolling out an initiative shortly called IC 343. watch for the details and that will uh we'll have some things in there on how we can partner with the Jewish community in your community just like we're doing here in Ottawa. Number two, one of the really encouraging things that came out was from Julio Gabelli. He shared this in terms from Ezekiel chapter 1 that that and many of you know this that section with the wheels within wheels and eyes and it was an encouragement for us to be wheels within wheels working together. Wheels within wheels very much like oldfashioned clocks. You know, remember those when you have all those clock works moving together in synchronicity
working not just the big wheels but the little little wheels help the big wheels and the medium wheels to all work and eyes speaking of vision. And so we are in a season and we're starting to see this all across the nation. We see the prayer movement growing in leaps and bounds. Never before have we seen so much prayer being risen or raising up in the nation. And that's all happening with connections. We are connected with so many different prayer streams, so many different prayer wheels or nets. And we're building these nets across the nation in prayer. But prayer isn't only to stay in the prayer closet. It's to get out on the street and be the hands and feet of Jesus. Eyes to see, ears to
hear, feet to move. I'm Chris Brick, the director of the National House of Prayer, and we will see you next time. Bye for now. [Music]
