hi everybody it's Chris fber the director of the national House of Prayer coming to you today from Ottawa last week we did a video should we be afraid of Mark honey Carney um and had a lot of interesting uh remarks in the YouTube uh chat under wordss which really quite interesting um so I just so you know uh we try to be as unbiased and nonpartisan but the reality is that a lot of our base lean towards one particular wife but not all of you and we understand that so today I want to ask the question uh should you be ar afraid of Pierre POV because even though some and many of you going to say what what are you talking about but there are many out there that

are are have fears the same way same version not all of us are completely the same isn't it good that we're not all Cookie Cutter people and uh we all have different opinions and you want to know and believe it or not there are Christians all across the Spectrum in especially in politics so we want to address that so should you be afraid of paf same thing applies you know if we go into an election and should uh Pier POV live win the election he'll become Prime Minister we're going to pray for him the same way we pray for Mark Carney and the same way we prayed for Justin Trudeau same way listen to me when I say this uh sometimes it doesn't come out I get all

kinds of comments from people that don't actually listen but we pray for him or her you pray for our leaders as if they were our son or daughter that's the posture we don't take get our all our op political opinions in there yes we need to weigh things right seriously uh you know medical assistance in dying is quite diabolical not having an abortion law is quite diabolical to uh you know when we see the amount of debt we've gone into from anybody like even when Steven Harper was prime minister he did something in an omous bill that I didn't like whatsoever and it had to do with an erosion of our freedoms and a lot many times we forget about that but that was there but I'm

not going to pray from my a posture of opinion I'm going to pray how what the word says that's the way I'm going to pray I'm going to pray from a posture of what the scripture says so 1 Timothy 2 going to say it again pray for everybody who's everybody ask the question everybody is everybody for kings and those in Authority that we will have peaceful and Godly life this is good so we're praying for King and Authority this is good and it pleases God so we pray for our leaders because it pleases God I call it the Divine setup the Divine setup is this Jesus says this pray for your enemies actually says love your enemies I always get this muddled up love your enemies and then he tells

you how and this is the how pray for those that despitefully use you so we don't pray for just the people we like we pray for everybody and why first Timothy tells us why that that uh all men and women would be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth so regardless of who is our prime minister we're going to pray regardless who is the leadership who's the MP in our writing we're going to pray regardless of what's going on in our cities we're going to pray and somebody I had a comment out there that says that prayer doesn't work well you want I want to tell you prayer Works we've seen so many things I'll tell you one story and we're going to close this

you know Mark Holland who was in the the uh the minister of Health back last spring just before March last March a year ago March 2024 the medical assistance and dying was about to to go to the next level and that would have included this would have included Ed mature miners so people that weren't even old enough to vote would have been able to opt for medical assistance in dying or euthanasia and as well as uh the mentally ill and you know we pressed in many of you pressed in on that and I remember sitting in the house that one particular day it was back it was coming up to the end of February and Mark Holland got into his heart and we were asking the Lord change his heart Lord

change his heart let him see this give him wisdom and Revelation that he would see it and I heard him in the house when there was a change in his language and he says maybe we're moving too fast maybe we really need we need we need to rethink this that didn't come I believe that didn't come because of his great ideas I believe that that came from a Praying Nation a Praying Church in Canada because the main thing that we do god holds he he sets up Kings he deposes Kings and it says in the scripture that he moves the heart of the king with his hand and in that case the Lord was speaking to that leader and he came to himself and decided Well they didn't say no but they punted it down the road

which was a bit of a reprieve but I really believe that came from prayer so I want to encourage you pray for our new prime minister as if he were a son and if if Prime if Pierre POV gets in we're going to pray the same way we'll be able to say hey it's a boy and with great gratitude with our leaders that's what we want we're praying with gratitude Rejoice ever and More in everything give thanks and pray without ceasing I'm Chris bber the director of the national House of Prayer and I want to remind you again every day is the National Day of Prayer goodbye for now [Music]
