Stay on the Wall

We have all heard of baby Daniel who was killed at 38-week gestation by lethal injection earlier this month at Montreal’s Sacré-Cœur Hospital. According to the Canadian Institute for Health Information(CIHI), 652 abortions took place at 21+ weeks gestational age in 2020 in Canada(not including Quebec). This statistic does not include those travelling out of country to have an abortion....

hi everybody it's Chris beiberg the director of the national House of Prayer coming to you from beautiful sunny Ottawa it's uh currently plus five which is so nice as opposed to minus 40 that we had over the weekend with the wind chill so this is a welcomed beautiful sunny day and uh often it's awesome for us to be out here talking to you um some really great things have happened in the in um in the house if you've been paying attention in House of Commons this week a couple of there's three things I really want to highlight the first one was the made expansion um the the minister lametti actually has uh brought forth uh legislation to to move the date from the 2003 to rather

2023 to 2024. so they've given themselves another year to look at this expansion that they want to do in regards to including mental health and uh and also I believe mature miners which is a really scary thought so they're giving themselves another year to look at it and so that's why we're going to continue to pray we need to continue to pray thank you for praying into this I think that's what's what that's really affected this um and that they've been having ears to hear and that's really important so continue to pray that they have ears to cure and they have eyes to see and nothing moving wisdom in Revelation number two is the um the gun legislation uh that uh that has been scrapped and

they want to rewrite that which is really quite good for indigenous the farmers and Hunters um it was a very unbalanced Bill and so that's great news and maybe some of you were praying into that so um yeah for those of us that don't live in cities it's not that big of a deal Actually I don't even want to get into the whole thing but um yeah it's good we like wisdom prevailing and uh that's good continue to press in they're going to be rewriting this or or presenting something new and so we continue to pray um number three uh we were praying into uh so what do they say see this oh C11 there's C11 which is the uh internet bill the the um that has uh been passed in the

sentence the Senate so many people think oh the bill has passed no that's doesn't know that necessarily what it means that means the Senate has sent them amendments and if the government doesn't agree on the the Amendments um they will have to send it back to the Senate until they find something that's uh amicable or maybe scrappable so continue to pray because it's not over many people are saying this is a done deal we don't know we haven't heard what the amendments are yet so that's why we're going to continue to pray don't give up just because a media Outlet said it's a done deal I don't think it is and because we still haven't crossed that line yet the fat lady hasn't sung so

continue to pray um then there was just also one more thing that that happened that was really quite disturbing in regards to um in the nation it just just shook us to our core and we and many of you already heard about this about the 38 week all the baby that was aborted in Montreal this is this is gruesome this is like you don't even I don't even can't even fathom how you you'll get to this point when a baby is about just about to be to be delivered and and and anyway we need to continue to pray somebody asked us somebody asked Brad um and said uh so what is in hop doing about this and Brad I just loved his answer he says we're doing what we always do we're staying on the wall

we're staying in the assignment we're praying we don't wait for we don't wait for crisis to happen to start praying we stay here on the wall it's important for us to stay in our assignments not to wait for for a crisis to engage First Timothy two you're I'm going to say this again I say this all the time first Timothy 2 says that we pray for everybody for the Kings and all those in Authority that we live peaceful and godly lives this is good it actually says this is good and but it's here's the main focus that all men would be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth that's why we pray that's why we pray we're not praying into agendas we're not praying into things we're

praying for people and we're praying for people's hearts and so it's important that we pray so how do you sustain how do we have sustainability to continue to stay on the wall we are Watchmen on the wall many intercessors know this stuff we're Watchmen on the wall oftentimes we get off once there's a crisis we slide off the wall and fall back to sleep but we're supposed to stay on the wall so how do you stay on the wall so let's take a look at at the apostolics prayer out of Ephesians 3. we're actually doing a study on this this week as a part of our series on Apostolic breaks but here it says that he prays to the father that he would send Holy Spirit to strengthen us in our

Inner Man in our inner being so how do we stay on the wall we pray for strength Supernatural powerful strength that we that our Inner Man our spirit man or woman would be strengthened to stay on the wall to stay in the assignment to stay in what God has called us to do as people of prayer and basically if you're a Christian you're supposed to be a person of Prayer so we are people of prayer we don't wait for the the crisis we are on the wall we are Watchmen we are watching for these things coming our way in advance not surprised and uh and it's not a surprise like this whole thing with the with the abortion this one baby gruesome the reality is and this is an awful reality

that that they do a hundred of these abortions a year that's about one every three days this is horrible if that doesn't if that doesn't stir you to stay on the wall I don't know what will so I want to encourage you stay in the assignment stay in the thing keep pressing in don't give up and when you're weary ask holy ask father to strengthen you with Holy Spirit that you would be able to maintain and sustain and move forward so let's pray father I thank you for this team I thank you for these people that are called Lord I Thank you for your your plans and purpose for this nation and Lord I ask that you would strengthen us with your Holy Spirit in our inner man
