Hey everybody, Brad Fedler again with the National House of Prayer with another prayer point for our election cycle. Um, I want to pray kind of a bold prayer today. Uh, want to pray that God would encounter uh the party leaders and all those who will be elected, all all the MPs who will be elected. We want to pray that God would encounter them. uh and taking this from 1 Timothy 2 uh:es 1-4. It's a passage we quote all the time. But first of all, Paul says,"I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, thanksgivings, all kinds of prayers be made for all people." And then he specifies for kings and all who are in high positions. And then a little bit later, he says, "This is good. It's

good to pray for them and cover for cover them. It's good and it's pleasing in the sight of God our savior who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. Uh we need to not lose sight of this. This is about more than us getting a political situation we like. This is about God desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. He desires that none should perish but that all would come to everlasting life. And I would just also reference, you know, Daniel 2, if you remember the story there, Nebuchadnezzar, the the leader, the dictator, the the sole uh sole king of of the Babylonian Empire, which was a not a not a godly empire. And God gave

him dreams that disturbed him. And Daniel, he gave Daniel not only the interpretation of the dream but what the dream was. And it, you know, that struck accord with Nebuchadnezzar. It proved the omniscience and the omnipresence of God to him. God revealed himself to Ne Nebuchadnezzar uh through Daniel in that way. And I love verse 22 of Daniel 2. He God reveals deep and hidden things. He knows what is in the darkness and the light dwells with him. When these leaders when they lay down at night and close their eyes, God is there and he knows what's going through their minds and he's with them. And so we just want to pray that God would reveal himself. That that they would encounter God. They

would encounter him and his his nature and his character that there would be they'd be, you know, moved by his kindness, by his mercy, by his love. that there would be a sense of the fear of the Lord. We just want to pray that they would all encounter God. And so, Father, we do as as your word tells us to do. We we offer prayers and intercessions, supplications, thanksgivings on behalf of our party leaders and all those who who will be elected in the next few weeks. Father, we ask that you would encounter them in the secret place. We ask that you would make yourself known to each of them. Uh not so that we can get things that we want, but so that they might be saved

and come to the knowledge of the truth. God, we thank you that your desire is that all men would be saved, that all would come to know you. Your heart does not want any to fall away. And so, God, we ask, reveal yourself to them. Would they encounter you? Would they come to know you even in this season of time? God, we ask make yourself known to our elected officials in Jesus name. Amen. Amen. Keep praying. We'll be back with another prayer point tomorrow. God bless. [Music]
