Putting Prayer in the Prayer Breakfast

[Music] hi everybody it's Chris bber the director of the national House of Prayer coming to you today from Ottawa well we are just through Easter what a great Easter celebration it was this year I'm sure it was the same for you uh we had family down was wonderful so I want to talk you about some things that are coming up that are very very important to us it is prayer breakfast time parl mentary prayer breakfast time it's coming up May the 6th and 7th here in Ottawa I think it's important if you want to come this is a great time uh great speakers the Prime Minister will be there he's been there for the last uh two times that we attended and um and we have some good uh testimonies on that

very very full I last I talked to Richard bregon we are we are um up close to 1,000 people are already registered to attend they have room for 14 so 1,400 so make sure if you're thinking about it go get your tickets the link will be down below um I like to think of En hop we're the ones that put the prayer and prayer breakfast if you notice when you go to any Municipal prayer breakfast or provincial or whatever not a l a lot of prayer going on um and they're great events and usually you know there's a lot to talk about Jesus and ministry that's good but um we we are actually a part of the the Parliamentary prayer team and so we have two events that are happening um coinciding with that event

of course there's the prayer breakfast on the morning actually the evening uh of Monday the 6th there's the leaders uh dinner and uh so you can sign up for that too so we usually attend the leaders dinner the prayer breakfast in the afternoon we are hosting the National Prayer walk on Parliament Hill uh we did that last year we you can actually see our prayer walk map it's up all the time so in the event you come to Ottawa you can actually use our prayer walk and pray around the Parliamentary Precinct um you can do that even from your home uh so we are hosting the prayer walk in the afternoon after the prayer of breakfast and then that following evening of the

7th we are having a worship and prayer night at peace Tower Church which is not that far from Parliament Hill there about seven blocks so if you're thinking about joining us and coming down let us know we'd love to connect with you and uh those three events are really really important uh we're so honored to be partnering with the Parliamentary prayer breakfast Richard Brighton and D Damen kurick they are the the co-chairs of the event we're also doing some things with the young leaders as well so uh so those are the things I want to talk about coming up also you know many people they ask us uh do you have any events do you do things on a regular basis in Ottawa

and actually we do we have a monthly prayer meeting at East Gate Alliance that's on one Sunday a month we can put the the details below we're also starting another uh watch night or uh or a burn uh coming up next month at West Ottawa Community Church watch for the details there and Our intention is actually to have four prayer meetings surrounding Ottawa there's one that'll be forming pretty soon in Orleans and then hope we won in gatau so uh watch for details we'll keep you up to date and of course those our two national Zoom calls every week Tuesday Mornings Wednesday evenings they're here they you'll see the details in our weekly prayer stream so there's a lot of prayer

going around uh here at in Ottawa also we also host a a prayer meeting for staff Tuesday afternoons after work at 5:00 actually 5:15 in the Sullivan chapel and we also go to a prayer meeting on Tuesday mornings bright and early uh with some pastors so we are engaged like I said en hop likes to put the prayer and the prayer breakfast and so I'm Chris bber the director of the national House of Prayer and I invite you to come out to Ottawa this prayer breakfast season thank you everybody bye for [Music] now [Music]
