hi everybody it's Chris bber the director of the national House of pray coming to you today from Ottawa well here we are in the our election campaign so I want to encourage you today from proverbs 9: 10 you know this the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom from that posture is where we're praying it is as we are discovering and looking at at uh platforms and policies of the contenders in this election we don't want to be motivated by fear but we want to be by and motivated by wisdom and that comes from the fear of the Lord let me just read this verse to you because I really love it it's um U chapter 9: 10 the fear of the Lord is the beginning of

wisdom and the knowledge of the Holy one is understanding so when my when we track the many of the apostolic prayers written by the Apostle Paul there was this asking for wisdom and understanding and the revelation of the knowledge of him so that is the basis point from which we pray not fear right uh but God hasn't given us a spirit of fear but a power of love and self-discipline so in this season I want to encourage you to be in self-discipline or sound mind and look at the platforms and pray from the place of the fear of the the Lord I'm Chris bber the director of the national House of Prayer and we will see you next time bye for now [Music]
