hi everybody it's Chris Byford the director of the national House of Prayer coming to you today from Ottawa actually when this video goes out we will actually be in Fort St John British Columbia at Mission Vision which is a city-wide Body of Christ initiative all the way up there and we're so excited to be there uh we are doing a couple of seminars and interacting with the folks up there and also speaking at a local church up in Fort St John we had a great trip out there just a few weeks ago meeting with the prayer movement and pastors and so so excited to come back and continue to share so pray for us while we're out here there anyway I want to share with you a couple of things
that are that we should be pressing in for in regards to made medical assistance and dying or like we like to say my assistance in living um so the medical assistance and dying expansion has been postponed you heard about that a couple of weeks ago there's also we put out a CO um last week that Ed fast the MP from Abbotsford was putting a a a piece of legislation forward to actually stop the expansion so continue to pray for that we hear certain things that that even though there's a year they've uh Minister lametti has sort of punted it down for another year till next march to to rework we also hear that there is a lot of um the government doesn't like the position
that many of the Canadians are opposed to this expansion which is great over 60 percent Hallelujah we want to see that number get bigger um but we're hearing that that they want more time to be able to convince Canadians otherwise so we need to be in prayer we need to be speaking to our building relationships with our MPS speaking to people that are no I'm I'm Still Still um almost flabbergasted when we talk about made that how many many how few uh in the body of Christ actually know this is taking place even pastors some pastors have not heard that we they haven't heard about the first part it made let it go let alone the expansion so anyway I want to encourage you to be
in prayer for this to continue to reach out speak but but to ask the Lord ask the Lord to petition the Lord for wisdom and Revelation right for our the hearts of our members of parliament that they would have eyes to see what this actually is that they'd have eyes to see how actually diabolical uh this it's like I shared before this is beyond a slippery slope it's more like a luge and um that they would have eyes to see we're starting to see we're grateful to hear that Canadians are uh that this is resonating in a positive way that we're not to move this way and that we are we should be a people about life and preserving life and so this is good I like to call this a Magnetic Hill so the
more that people realize that we're not going to take this slippery slope but we're going to go on a Magnetic Hill and get pulled up with the truth that is so so important for us that'll that'll grow into even more aspects of life in this nation that would be a nation of life that we would choose life life and that Jesus said that I have come to give life and that more abundantly that we would have life overflowing with life and so Lord we pray that for Canada Lord that they would have eyes to see that you Lord that are a god of life that Jesus you came to give life and that more abundantly and Lord we ask that Abundant Life would just flow out of our houses
flow out of our workplaces floor out of wherever we are Lord that we would be a people that would be a people of my assistance in living and we pray this Lord in Jesus name amen well I'm Chris byberg the director of the national House of Prayer and we will see you next time bye for now
