Hi everybody. It's Chris Byberg, the director of the National House of Prayer, coming to you today from Ottawa. Well, have you voted yet? Uh Marilyn and I just voted. Uh we were the lucky recipients of one of those mega ballots with 91 names on it. It is amazing. It is so big. Don't worry about the font size. Many people were concerned about font size. It was regular font size. So that meant this ballot was bigger than most road maps. So those of us who remember road maps, you had to fold it up like it was a road map. Good thing I have that skill from way back when. Anyway, I want to talk to you about the importance of voting and getting out the vote and being there and and do that. Be

voters. Be there. Be engaged. Pick up people. Do all those things. This is really important, especially that younger generation that are feeling hopeless. So reach out to them. Also I want to talk to you uh about the those cam those uh platform things are coming. If you've been watching the debates they've been saying that costed platforms are coming. We started to work on some stuff but it was only promises and without a costed platform it's a lot of work for us. So they keep promising that they're going to be out. So watch for them and when we get them we'll send them along. Uh number three in this video I want to talk to you about the importance of listening to the Lord.

You've been hearing me say this all the time and one of the things that we we've uh felt that we need to be careful about is is your particular party is that an idol or is that something that we do cuz sometimes we can have idols. I want to say share this one little story and I'm going to end this. You know, back about 20 some years ago, we were pastoring in south uh Hiron, which is on the southwestern Ontario. And at that time, we were asked to uh run for a particular political party. And uh and I said no because the incumbent, the member uh there was a believer and he was a really excellent man and he carried the kingdom and he didn't vote for my favorite team.

He wasn't on my favorite team, but you know what? I voted him because I voted for him because I heard the word of the Lord and it said, "Vote for this man. This is a rich righteous man." I didn't run against him because he was a righteous man. He was a good man and he he was doing great works. So don't let your favorite party be an idol. Don't let that happen. Listen to the voice of the Lord. Listens to his problems. He might have a change for you. You just never know. So anyway, I'm Chris Byberg, the director of the National House of Prayer, and we'll see you next time. Bye for now. [Music]
