hi everybody it's Chris fber the director of the national House of Prayer coming to you today from Ottawa well here we are the day after the New Brunswick election it's Tuesday we just came out of our Tuesday morning prayer call on Zoom National call always a great call always like to plug that some of our people were a little discouraged know Blaine Hicks he lost his seat uh didn't even get reelected he lost his seat even our friend fine came close uh but didn't win it was short by less than 200 votes from what I can understand last night um when they were acclaimed uh when the the liberal candidate was acclaimed and you know and and in British Columbia we're still waiting on

um whether or not uh who won because as there's still some seats up for grabs they're still counting they're still in the process so we want to be in prayer prayer for these things and this is why we want to be in prayer like today today is the day after the New Brunswick election today is when we start to pray for the next New Brunswick election this is how we do this don't pile on when the RIT is dropped and then we get on because it's not necessarily about votes it's something that you need to understand you know the Lord's not going to switch the votes that are in the box it's not going to do that it's not going to go against your free will anybody's Free Will so the it means it's a

long-term gradual work Grassroots that's how the kingdom works the kingdom of God is like a a mustard seed a little tiny seed that's how it works a little seed and it'll grow into a big bush but it starts as a seed and that's what prayer is like sometimes it's really small and when we see the kingdom growing in Canada it's not based on elections you have to be careful about that because you know for I'll give you an example with when when when prime minister Trudeau came in there were so many that were discouraged back in 2016 they stopped praying they stopped praying to the point that they didn't even come to the National house to prayer to pray that's how how discouraged they were and

that's a scheme of the enemy and that's where he wants you to be he wants you to be discouraged that you don't pray and you're supposed to stay on the wall let me read this here from Colossians 2 it's really relevant Brad brought it up in our prayer time this morning was really so good Colossians 2 6-10 let's see here it goes so then just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord to continue to live in him rooted and built up in him strengthened in the faith as you were taught and overflowing with thankfulness wow that's good see it to see to it that no one takes you captive through Hollow and deceptive philosophies which depend on human traditions and and basic principles of

this world rather than Christ so if you're looking to think that the politics of the world are going to fix our nation that's Hollow and baseless I just want to encourage you you have to realize that it's Babylon all right yes we have a messiah his name is Jesus the Messiah is not a political person our Messiah is Jesus and that is where our hope some trust and sh chariots some in horses some even in Poles but we will trust in the name of the Lord Our God that is our posture so when we see these things go not quite as we walk we are still going to be pray that the god of Hope fills us with all hope and joy powered by the Holy Spirit God has a plan he hasn't rejected us yes it's

really sad that F didn't get in it is I'm very sad that she didn't get in but God has a plan it's sad that Premier hi higs didn't get in he stood firm on family family values and he didn't get in God has a plan let me continue here I'm going to read that again see it see to it that no one takes you captive through Hollow and deceptive philosophies which depend on human traditions and the basic principles of the world rather than on Christ for in Christ all the fullness of the deity lives in bodily form and you have been given fullness of Christ who is the head over every every power and authority Christ is over every power and authority so today I want to encourage

you stay on the wall continue to pray continue to pray for New Brunswick it's a new day God's got a different plan we're going to plug in and we're going to to pray for new Bruns in a big Way new British Columbia we're still waiting on a decision if it's NDP if it's conservative if it's green if it's I don't know who we are still going to pray we're going to still stay on the wall we're going to still trust and we're going to build the Grassroots movement of the kingdom of God remember the Mustard Seed we're going to build this so that it invades all areas of society we are called to be Salt and Light so we pray Lord let your kingdom come and let your will be done here in
