hi everybody it's Chris VI the director of the national House of Prayer coming to you today from Ottawa well happy candidate day on behalf of the maryn and myself and our staff we want to wish you a happy candidate day your members are now back in their ridings they left on Wednesday and they're headed back to the ridings till about mid September but that's not because they're taking vacation many times we hear people that say that oh they're just taking time off you want to know the MP's life is extremely busy when they're in the constituency and this is a great opportunity for you to connect with them you know they're going to be at Canada Day Celebrations there are going to be

fairs they're going to be events all summer and there's a good chance that you'll be able to see them so track with them you can see their their stuff on social media where they're likely going to be and if you get the opportunity go up and say hello to them say hello that tell them you're you're praying for them tell them that you're connecting with them hey even if you've got some time and you want to set up a meeting with them ask if they can have a meeting even I've got a team this weekend this this summer that plans on meeting their MP and they're actually going to be praying for them in that meeting so if you're bold and courageous you might want to

try that so I want to encourage you this is a great time to work out well it's a great time to work out it is it's a great time to to get out there to connect to to get close to your MP and their staff during this this side this season doesn't matter what party they're from be there tell them that you're praying they really appreciate it I met with an MLA this morning said the same thing first time I got to meet her in this role I met her before when I worked in government but I met her this time in this role from as the Director of the national House of Prayer and I told her I've got a team praying for you and she was so appreciated of it she says I really need those prayers thank you very
