hi everybody it's Chris beiberg the director of the national House of Prayer coming to you today from Ottawa well we're approaching lent in fact yesterday was Fat Tuesday so today's the first day of Lent have you thought about what you're going to do had a great conversation with my son David about what we were going to not do during Lent I just love his young heart and his eagerness to engage God's doing some amazing things with the young adults in the nation if you're following with Asbury down in Kentucky there's some great things that are happening there kind of makes me a little bit jealous I wish this was happening here in me aren't you hungry and I think it's a hunger that's

there it's a hunger that the Lord has had so so we're crying out for the same thing here up in Canada amongst our young adults amongst our our older people amongst the grandmas and grandpas and the and the young young children a full move of God isn't that good yes God let it happen here we're so grateful to hear the stories of what's going on in many many places so we had a great call yesterday on our national Zoom call on Tuesday mornings you know we just felt that we needed to move into a time of Thanksgiving and share some of the things that God was doing in the different regions individually in in their churches in their local churches in their cities exactly and they were

are many many great examples of God moving of fruitfulness that is the thing of being fruitful I just want to read something out of Colossians 1 here an Apostolic prayer we're going to be studying this in depth later on this week but let me read it to you and let it encourage your heart and it's from Colossians chapter one we have not stopped praying for you and asking God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding and we pray this in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please him in every way bearing fruit in every good work growing in the knowledge of God being strengthened with all power according to

his glorious might that you may have great endurance and patience and joyfully giving Faith thanks to the father who has qualified you to share the inheritance of his Saints in the Kingdom of Light it's not a great passage but really resonates here and that you would be fruitful in every good work this is so good and we're so grateful for hearing the stories of fruitfulness all across the nation and it doesn't matter how big whether it's a big Ministry or it's just happening in your little home fruitfulness fruitfulness is what the Lord is after that you would be fruitful so how do we do that we ask the Lord for endurance we ask for for wisdom of his will knowledge

of his will not individually but what's God's will what's the big picture so let me just pray this over you today Father we thank you for what you're doing in Canada Lord we thank you for what you're doing in our houses of Parliament rather their legislatures are here on the hill Lord we can see that you're doing great things and we're so grateful for it and Lord you're breaking out even in in the midst of Our Lives Lord you're you're you're breaking out in the midst of our neighbors and in our local church in our families and Lord we're so grateful Lord we ask that you would strengthen us Lord that we would be able to endure and be full of joy while we're doing

this Lord we thank you Lord that the joy of the Lord is our strength so we'll give you praise we give you honor we give you glory for what you're doing in North America Lord we ask for more in Jesus name amen well thank you everybody I'm Chris beiberg the director of the national House of Prayer and we will see you next time bye for now
