Faithfulness in Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your loved ones! Let us remember to remain faithful and fervent in prayer as we enter this holiday season.

[Music] hi everybody it's Chris bber the director of the national House of Prayer coming to you today from Ottawa well Happy Thanksgiving weekend it is such a great time the weather here is fantastic in otwa um Thanksgiving if you haven't received our Thanksgiving mailer we're looking for partners that will partner with inhoff but also we are uh we we put the bottom of the mail or a letter that you can send back to us that you if you could write out a prayer for your Member of Parliament or the prime minister or a particular Minister uh Minister that you want to pray for write this down write down the prayer send it back to W and we will hand deliver it to those members so
that's really really important so that's the first thing I wanted to talk to you about number two um it's Thanksgiving and out of Thessalonians first Thessalonians five Rejoice ever more in everything give thanks and pray without ceasing this is like a major major verse for us it's a posture you should live in all of the time right this whole thing of Thanksgiving Thanksgiving I know I'm preaching to the choir but Thanksgiving is just something that you do once or twice a year it's a place where we live out of and everything give thanks everything everything the good things the bad things the things that when it go sideways but have an attitude of gratitude because this is really
important this in Christ Jesus this pleases God he loves it when we have hearts of Thanksgiving that we are in Perpetual prayer you know James talks about um the effectual fervent prayer of the r righteous avails much that fervency isn't a matter of being I call it Viking prayers I'm I'm praying I'm fervent no the the the ferency is being faithful being consistent and faithful so be consistent in Thanksgiving be faithful in Thanksgiving be consistent in prayer be faithful in prayer be consistent in rejoicing and be faithful in rejoicing because when you're faithful in little God will give you more so anyway Happy Thanksgiving everybody my name is Chris Viber the
