hi everybody it's Chris bber the director of the national House of Prayer coming to you today from Winnipeg we've been here for a little while we're at the Winnipeg Christian Center for a come up here event this past Tuesday and we are headed to Porter La Prairie and Moran with Christian Life Assembly and as well as an ignite event here in the city of w peg next Tuesday so it's been a very busy season and really really exciting we've connected with many people Bridges bridges uh for peace um we'll be meeting actually with former Speaker of the House of the Manitoba legislator legislature Andrew mfield he's a an old friend of ours and so it's been a really productive time but I want

to talk to you today about faith without works is dead and we've been focusing on quite a few things right now if you've been noticing you know we've been praying about anti-Semitism and engaging with the Jewish Community we've been praying for government and leaders so we pray for our MPS and you know and and many times you know it's good to pray but there needs to be an element of Engagement so I want to read this out of James 2 verse um 14 let me read it to you it's almost self-explanatory but I think it's really good what good is it my brothers if a man claims to have faith but has no Deeds can such Faith save him suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and

daily food if one of you says to him go I wish you well keep warm and wellfed but does nothing about this physical needs what good is it in the same way Faith by itself is not accompanied by action is dead and so we've been speaking about an awful lot especially in lie of uh you know this past weekend's uh anti-em anti-semitic um Rampage in Montreal I don't know if you're aware of it there were 85,000 that were involved in that and we're finding there's a lot of media p uh suppression at this time we talked a couple weeks ago about you know this this Plot to Bomb a gathering which Marilyn and I were planning on attending we actually attended was uncovered and it was quite by accident that we

actually found this out so anyway back to faith without works is dead it is good that we are praying for the Jewish Community it is good that we are praying for our members of of parliament but it is more important that we also engage engage with them you know I saw something this week in Facebook during the Rampage in Montreal um MPP uh or MLA uh Lisa McLoud she posted this on Facebook and I thought it was just mindblowing how excellent it is you know and I've talked to Lisa a couple of times she's a she's an MPP in the city of of Ottawa in nepan actually and uh and I spoke to her on a couple of applications and she's not a Believer yet but she is a Zionist and uh even when this Rampage

was going on in Montreal she put a Facebook post out there and I thought it was just phenomenal I wish I had done it we were on a plane I probably would have done it myself and it was to my friends in to my friends in Montreal my Jewish friends in Montreal if you're not feeling safe please know that you can come and stay with me I have space for you you that is works that work you know and she's not even a believer and she's doing this so I want to encourage you last little while I've been you know we've been speaking in a lot of places and we do talk about anti-Semitism in Canada and I want to encourage you to ask the Lord to send you friends to send you Jewish friends but I just

don't want to say you to be in this passive position and saying Lord send me friends no it has to be active you have to go and you have to go out and seek them so say Lord will you make a way for me to have Jewish friends that I can reach out and Care in in every part of our Lives actually should be happening in every part of our life Lord send me send me to whether it's the poor whether it's to your Member of Parliament whether it's to your neighbors whether it's your families whether it's your co-workers our posture is to send me I'm Chris bber the director of the national House of Prayer and we will see you next time bye for now [Music]
