hi everybody it's Chris byberg the director of the national House of Prayer coming to you today from Ottawa well what an amazing week so many great plans are in the works uh uh was on the on the on numerous calls this week with many national leaders it's so exciting what the Lord is doing in Canada one of the things I want want to talk to you today is is about um Warrior culture um Pier Pao said this just a couple weeks ago and it really intrigued me what he was saying it uh it got my attention not that I'm looking I want to preface this here it's really important that many of us are all excited about leadership change and new leaders you got a new one

in the states possible new one coming to Canada and everybody's excited about their new Messiahs um but I just want to re just reiterate that uh we have a messiah his name is Jesus and that is our follower that's who we follow he is our King we follow him and the other ones are yep I'm grateful for them and God sets up Kings and he deposes kings and we're called to pray for everybody for kings and those in Authority so just hear what I'm saying so anyway Pierre was talking about the first thing that he's going to do in Canada is reestablish Warrior culture in the armed forces but you know what we as Christians are already there we are already there and partly I'm really

grateful for this because it was a reminder of who we are as Believers that we are already in Warrior culture we are already taking on those things let me go Ephesians 6 you guys know this well and I'm going to read but I'm going to go a little bit further to show you how Warrior culture is so connected to your prayer life and so essential to what we're doing so let's read this you know this finally be strong in the Lord in the power of His might put on the full armor of God so that you may take your stand against the devil's schemes for our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers against authorities against the powers of this Dark World and against the spiritual

forces of evil in the Heavenly Realms therefore put on the full armor of God that you when the day of evil comes you may be able to stand your ground and after you have done everything to stand stand firm then with a Bel of Truth buckled around your waist with a breastplate of righteousness in place and your feet fitted with the Readiness that comes from the gospel of peace in addition to all this take up the shield of faith and with which you can extinguish the flaming arrows of the evil one take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the spirit which is the word of God and listen to this and pray in the spirit on All Occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests with this

in mind be alert and always keep on praying for all the and listen that yet there's more and here it is Al when also when you pray for me that whatever I open my mouth words may be given me that I will fearlessly make known The Mystery of the Gospel a't that good so often we we we think of we get to the we wrestle not against flesh and blood and put on the armor of God and then we see how Paul ratifies it says listen this is what it's for it says the why of the armor and it's so that we can pray all the time see Rejoice ever more pray with out ceasing and everything gets give thanks the same thing with uh 1 Timothy 2 pray for everybody for kings and those in

Authority I had a had a comment in in um in one of our on the video last week and somebody says I can't believe you guys pray for politics we just don't pray for politics we pray for kings and those in Authority we pray for for everybody who's everybody everybody's everybody isn't that inclusive we pray for everybody even the people we don't like the people we love but even the people we don't like I've said this before and I'm going to say it again it's a Divine setup that God has called us to pray for our enemies not only says pray for our enemies but he says love your enemies love Jesus said this love your enemies and he tells us how how to love your enemies it gives us the why right

afterwards pray for those who despitefully use you that is the Divine setup because I pray for people that I don't necessarily care for and even some people that I'm really hurt by but I found that more I pray for them the more I love them God so loved the world that he gave his son everything we do is based out of love you know in First Corinthians the love chapter it talks about you know even though we can prophesy if we don't have love we are nothing but a clanging symbol or a Gong I don't want to be the gong show I want to be moving out of love I everything my prayers are rooted in love for my community for those people at work for our political leaders for everybody my

family I am basing my prayers out of love we had an interesting prayer time yesterday and my friend uh Jean Howard he said this which was so profound that we move in boldness with humility so I want to encourage you today put on the armor of God so that you can stand that you will be standing and you will be praying you will be standing and bless the Lord Come Bless the Lord you Servants of the Lord that stand by Night lift up your hands in the Holy place and bless the Lord because in the secret place he will tell you secrets anyway I'm Chris bber the director of the national House of Prayer and I say to you do say to you again today every day is the day National Day of Prayer I
