[Music] hi everybody it's Chris bber the director of the national House of Prayer coming to you today from Ottawa well here we are the third week of Advent Joy this is uh who doesn't like joy I love joy I love the anticipation of Christmas time of Messiah coming I love this time of year I love the joy you're my favorite Christmas Carol is Joy to the World the Lord has come let Earth receive her King I love this this time of year it's so so we get to see see the goodness of God in the land of the living you know um you know the Apostle Paul said that it was for the joy set before him that Jesus endured the cross that he went through this place of Shame so that he could be seated at the right

hand of the father and we also are seated with him in Heavenly places the Bible said so it's this such even for that painful time of Joy it was for joy that he did this so I want to encourage you in this season that uh that that put on Joy in Joy it is such a great time um back in in in um Isaiah I forget what it is 56 no no not that anyway in Isaiah it it says they that wait upon the Lord will renew their strength you know that verse right but I like the the the literal Hebrew on that it says those expecting Yahweh will have their strength renewed and in this season of expecting Messiah it is a should be a season where our strength is renewed don't get I know

it's a busy time we're getting ready for friends and families and trees and presents and all that stuff but I just want to encourage you be renewed in Joy be renewed in knowing him and get to gaze upon the beauty of his Holiness in this time don't I want to encourage you it's tough for me because I like to do all the stuff but don't forget to spend time with him face to face gazing upon the Lord and knowing him and knowing him in this season and knowing the joy of our Salvation so I'm Chris bber the director of the national House of Prayer and we will see you next time bye for [Music] now
