[Music] hi everybody it's Chris bber the director of the national House of Prayer coming to you today from Ottawa last week as you all know uh was the nationville prayer breakfast I had to reshoot this video because I think I use the word amazing way too many times um amazing is an understatement as to what happened last week thank you for all of you that have been uh were tracking with us in that prayer uh strategy that we had 21 days prior it actually it really made a difference the the difference between last year's and this year's prayer breakfast last year's was wonderful this year was Stellar it was just off the charts um from the worship and uh prayer event that was at uh for

the young leaders the young leaders Summit on Sunday night what a fantastic event great prayer coming from uh the MPS that led it it was just powerful uh Monday we were a part of uh the young leader Summit so we spoke at at uh we were on a panel and we had some great questions and were're able to interact with a lot of the young leaders that were there and there were twice as many this year than last year which was so exciting um and then uh Monday evening was the the leaders dinner and that was very different than the year before um we had a sizable worship time and uh and just to adore and worship God was just phenomenal and then the Highlight for me were the prayers that came from two MPS

there was we went had time of um intercessory prayer and uh Rosemary faul uh from North from North Battleford and Ted faul they're not related he's from Manitoba Southern Manitoba he uh they they LED in prayer that was really unexpected not your typical what we would expect what you would probably expect at a prayer breakfast but more what you would expect at a prayer meeting and it was a powerful powerful time of repentance and intercession and it was again amazing then uh the following morning at the at the breakfast itself it was um man 13 over 1300 in attendance which is almost double what it was last year um one of the things that the highlights of that event was of course the speaker

andu was amazing and uh one of my takeaways was you know we've been praying for Heart Change that's the main thing that we pray for yeah we pray for policy but policy actually comes out of the heart out of the abundance of the heart the mount speaks and so when we see policies that are are uh kind of strange and and actually evil sometimes and wicked right that comes out of heart and uh and so we've been praying for heart change and we noticed something with the Prime Minister that we've never noticed before there was a I actually said to somebody who is that guy and for about 90 seconds they the prime minister went off um off speech he didn't follow his speech and um and he

shared from his heart and he shared about when he was a a boy and how his father used to lead them weekly in devotions and how he he uh would pray every day when he was a boy his father would lead him that and he said that he carries faith in a small way but we saw an intimacy we saw vulnerability we saw humility that we hadn't seen in a while so I want to continue to just to say keep pressing him pray because the main thing we're praying is for Heart Change now I did there were some some people say wow you know it was probably an act or something like that or maybe you just putting on his play to the room but you know when the Lord asks us to pray for heart

change when he asks us to pray that's intercessory prayer when he asks us to pray for heart change and we pray for heart change and then we see heart change and then we say well it wasn't really Heart Change that's being double-minded James talks about that in James chapter 1 it's about don't be double-minded don't ask for something and then don't believe it believe it'll happen because that's being double-minded and if we are that way we are unstable in all our ways so I want to encourage you pray for heart change when you see it happen Rejoice even though it might be just 90 seconds worth rejoice and uh just keep praying it's it's working some of our we brought in

some of our prayer team from across the the country and they were saying Chris you could visibly see what God is doing here on the hill you can see the how God is active in many many of the MPS that are believers man they are a driving force here so keep praying for them also I just want to just continue my recap um on the Tuesday afternoon anhop led a National Prayer walk around the Parliamentary Precinct and that was over over 120 in attendance with that and uh we had three teams you know 40 or so that went around it was a wonderful time and then for me one of our highlights is we held an inaugural come up here prayer and worship event at peace Tower Church um

Pastor Jimmy and peace Tower were so gracious to to allow us to use their facility it was wonderful over 100 in attendance there on the Tuesday night for me I was very very blessed to see over 25 leaders in involved with that and uh that speaks volumes from Across the Nation it was so good so I just want to encourage you continue to pray continue to press in continue to pray for heart change because it's actually we're seeing it we're seeing it even H in you know in the non-believers but in those that are believers are becoming more ferocious in their prayer lives and it's very evident on the hill so anyway I'm Chris byberg the director of the national House of Prayer and we will see
