A scared world needs a fearless church

We stand with Israel and Jewish people around the world. The pain being inflicted is devastating. Our video reminds us that now is the time for a fearless church to intercede in a scared and shaken world. We need to come along side the Jewish brothers and sisters in our communities and let them know we are standing with them...

[Music] hi everybody it's Chris bber the director of the national House of Prayer coming today from Ottawa well it was a really interesting weekend um we attended a support Israel rally on Saturday the rally ran from City Hall up to Parliament Hill there were about 3,000 people in attendance it was very good not very many Believers because there was a Jesus f that was happening there so they were out but uh I was able to attend I had some saw some friends there it was a pretty solemn time it was good there were some parliamentary people there couple of MPS it was a good solemn time I had an interesting thing happened while I was there a a rabbi asked if if if I could

uh would participate in a little bit of a ceremony that was say he was doing and I said you know I would love to but I'm a I'm a Christian I don't know if you would appreciate that and you know what he was he was so surprised that I was there and I said yeah I'm here and I said I but I I have even something even bigger to tell you I have a group of people you I have this group of people across the nation that are praying for Israel that are praying for the Peace of Jerusalem that are praying for your families and the families there and you know he gave me the biggest biggest hug and was so appreciative that that Marilyn and I were there I want to encourage you that this is really

important some of the conversations that I heard were that I was there because you know on Friday was the uh past Friday was the the global day of jihad you know many people I heard conversations of people I'm not going to send my children to school I'm really worried about my friends here and there and abroad so there's a lot of pain going on you know not since the Holocaust you know you would say well it was 70 years ago what pain are they dealing with I'll tell you that pain is still very much alive in the Jewish community so this is what I I want to encourage you to do one pray for them if you have Jewish friends text them call them tell them that you're praying for

them you wouldn't believe what kind of comfort this will be for them you know I shared this last week if you're if there's a synagogue in your neighborhood call that synagogue ask how you can be a support and if there are any of these rallies that are uh happening in your area go and be supportive uh go and be supportive to them because they are in a lot of pain so I want to just encourage you that this is a great time to reach out to the Jewish people in our community in Canada it's so important that we are are there a and so I'm Chris bber the director of the national House of Prayer and and I will see you next time bye for [Music] now
