Hi, I'm Lawrence Wilson, the lead worship leader at the Wallisburg House of Prayer. Now, I'm much more at home ministering with my guitar before the Lord than I am speaking. But I need to share a few thoughts. I was reading in 1 Corinthians 9, do not muscle the ox while it's treading out the grain, which isn't about oxen, but it's about us because whoever plows and threshes should be able to do so in the hope of sharing in the harvest. That got me to thinking. Uh, I've talked to many young people and one of the resounding themes that I keep hearing is a lack of hope that they will ever be able to own a home or for some even to rent an apartment. So in this

election, I would implore you to seek God's face. We need a leader whose fiscal policies and visions will steer the nation in a direction so that once again this place would be a place where industries can thrive. A place where prosperity is found and a place where hard work and dedication are enough to make home ownership a reality for more people rather than just something for the rich and foreign investors. And this needs to be a place where hardworking people can afford to eat rather than relying on food banks. So, a few things to look for in a leader. Somebody who puts this country first and foremost ahead of any other agenda. Known for their honesty, integrity, and trustworthiness, and

demonstrates wisdom and discernment, making sound decisions that steer the country in a direction that leads to prosperity. They need to be open about issues and challenges and they need to answer questions directly and honestly and clearly rather than dodging so that everyone can be informed. It's important to seek God for his choice. Ask him who is it? Who do we need? Consider the outcomes of the party's actions and policies and their impact on this country. Do the promises that these p this person is making line up with the pol policies of the party? Is it a sudden shift? So ask God, is this the right person to deal with the other world leaders and the threats that this

country is facing? And finally, don't forget to vote. I'm Lawrence Wilson for the National House of Prayer. [Music]
