A change of climate

As our parliamentarians are about to return for the new session, we are asking you to pray for “Climate Change.” Our video this week is a call to action. There needs to be a change in the political climate. There needs to be less partisanship and a spirit of cooperation for what is best for Canada. Keep this in mind...

[Music] hey everybody it's Chris weiberg the director of the national House of Prayer here on the hill Parliament Hill that's the West block behind us so we're out for a day Parliament is starting uh next Monday morning uh they'll be back in Action looking forward to all the funness that's going to be happening in the house so it's important that we pray pray for this particular thing I heard something that was read I think Global Mail said this it was talking about the the last session and many of the bills that did not go through the way they should have uh because of partisan politics uh very excellent bills Kathy wagenthal's bill for example didn't go through and it really should have so

um and uh in this particular order article it had said that um that that needed to have a different climate there needed to be a better climate in the house so this year this season as we come into this let's pray for climate change not the regular climate change that we're hearing about in the media all the time but a climate change in the House of Commons so that they would be working together that they would have ears to hear and work together not based on political ideology but on on what is best for our nation so I want to encourage you today let's pray for climate change a change of climate in the House of Commons my name is Chris byrick the director of the national
